At Hope Harbor, every month brings new opportunities to grow, serve, and support children and foster families across Oklahoma. February 2026 has been especially meaningful as we’ve experienced the power of community, generosity, and shared purpose.

Welcoming Community Grandparents to Hope Harbor

One of the most exciting updates this month is the addition of a special couple who recently visited our campus, met our team, and experienced the heart behind our mission.

We are thrilled to share that they have decided to join us at Hope Harbor as our Community Grandparents.

In this unique and impactful role, they will:

  • Support foster families on campus

  • Build meaningful relationships with children

  • Encourage and strengthen our community through daily presence and care

Their decision to live and serve at Hope Harbor reflects the kind of intentional, Christ-centered support system that makes our campus so special. This addition will further enrich the environment we are building for children in foster care and the families who care for them.

A Powerful Volunteer Work Day

This February, we also had the privilege of hosting an incredible volunteer work day.

Five people stand talking near a white trailer on a sunny day. Boxes and a bike are nearby. Bare trees and a clear sky are in the background.

More than 40 volunteers from three different congregations came together with one purpose: to serve.

Together, they:

  • Cleaned out the barn

  • Cleared the academy area

  • Helped prepare and maintain our campus for future growth

Their hard work made a lasting impact, and their willingness to serve is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for a greater cause.

To everyone who showed up, gave their time, and worked alongside us, thank you. Your support directly impacts the lives of children and foster families at Hope Harbor.

New Ways to Give and Support Foster Families

We are always looking for ways to make supporting Hope Harbor simple and accessible. This month, we added Venmo and Cash App as new giving options.

These platforms make it easier than ever to partner with us in providing:

  • Safe, stable homes for children in foster care

  • Resources and support for foster families

  • A thriving, faith-based community centered on hope and healing

Every gift, no matter the size, helps us continue this important work across Claremore, Tulsa, and surrounding Oklahoma communities.

Thank You for Being Part of the Mission

None of this would be possible without you.

Your prayers, support, volunteering, and generosity are helping us create a place where children feel safe, families feel supported, and lives are being transformed every day.

As we move forward in 2026, we are excited to see how God continues to work through Hope Harbor, and we are so grateful you are part of this journey with us.

We invite you to get involved or learn more about fostering.
