January 2026 Update: New Beginnings at Hope Harbor

As we step into a new year, we are grateful to share how God is moving at Hope Harbor. January 2026 has already been filled with meaningful moments, growth, and exciting new opportunities to serve children and foster families in our community.


Welcoming a New Foster Family to Campus

We began the year in the best way possible, by welcoming a new foster family to the Hope Harbor campus on January 1. This is what our mission is all about: creating a safe, supportive environment where children in foster care can experience stability, love, and belonging.


Every new family that joins Hope Harbor strengthens our ability to care for more children in need across Oklahoma. Our campus model is designed to support foster families with resources, community, and encouragement, helping them thrive as they serve.


Sharing the Hope Harbor Mission in Lubbock, Texas

This month, our team had the opportunity to travel to Lubbock, Texas, to attend the Sunset International Biblical Institute Workshop. During the event, we connected with many incredible individuals and shared Hope Harbor's mission with a wider audience.



Moments like these allow us to raise awareness of the urgent need for foster care support, recruit future partners, and build relationships with those passionate about helping children and families.


Introducing the Lighthouse Café

One of the most exciting updates this month is the launch of a newly reimagined space on campus.

What was once our school cafeteria is being transformed into a warm, welcoming place for connection, and thanks to our community, it now has a name: The Lighthouse Café.


Through a recent social media campaign, supporters helped us choose a name that reflects the heart of this space. The Lighthouse Café will serve as a central gathering place where foster families, children, and visitors can come together, build relationships, and feel a sense of belonging.
