Spring is bringing new momentum to Hope Harbor, and March 2026 has been filled with meaningful connections, exciting progress, and impactful training opportunities. We are grateful to share how God continues to move through our mission to support children and foster families across Oklahoma.

Connecting at the Affirming the Faith Seminar in Oklahoma City

We kicked off the month in Oklahoma City at the Affirming the Faith Seminar, where our team had the opportunity to set up a booth and share the mission of Hope Harbor.

This event allowed us to:

  • Connect with new individuals passionate about foster care and ministry

  • Reconnect with longtime friends and supporters

  • Expand awareness about the need for foster family support in Oklahoma

Opportunities like this help us grow our network, build relationships, and invite more people into the work God is doing at Hope Harbor.

Renewing the Academy Space After 30 Years

Back on campus, we’ve taken a major step forward in renewing one of our most important spaces.

Stacks of "Luxury Vinyl Plank" boxes on a partially installed floor in a large room. Green and beige walls, yellow exit door, and bright lights above.

After 30 years, the academy space is officially being refreshed.

So far, we have:

  • Removed the old carpet

  • Prepared the floors for the next phase of renovation

  • Begun transforming the space into something new and purposeful

It is exciting to see visible progress and to imagine how this renewed space will better serve foster families, children, and educational support programs in the future.

First On-Campus Training: CPR Certification with Lilyfield

Two people practicing CPR on a mannequin; one performs chest compressions while the other opens a red first aid kit. Office setting.

Another major milestone this month was hosting our first on-campus training event.

In partnership with Lilyfield, we provided CPR certification training for both on-campus and off-campus foster families, as well as Hope Harbor staff.

This training ensures that:

  • Caregivers are better equipped to respond in emergencies

  • Children are supported in a safer, more prepared environment

  • Our entire community continues to grow in confidence and capability

Investing in training like this is a vital part of our commitment to excellence in foster care support.

Thank You for Supporting Foster Families in Oklahoma

Every step forward, through outreach, renovation, or training, is made possible because of your continued support.

At Hope Harbor, we are dedicated to creating a Christ-centered community where children in foster care can experience stability, healing, and hope.

Thank you for walking alongside us, praying for this mission, and helping us serve families across Claremore, Tulsa, and surrounding Oklahoma communities.

We invite you to get involved or learn more about fostering.
